DAILY HAIKU: FEED ME SEYMOUR

HAPPY SEPTEMBER 1 CUPCAKES

August is officially gone and September is here *le sigh*. I've had quite the busy day already and its only 11:30 am! I had to wake up extra early this morning to finish packing my trunk...ya see our house-elf Whimzy apparently went on a Butterbeer bender last night and was a bit hungover this morning so we had to do our own cooking, cleaning, and folding of clothes. Ya never really realize just how hard a house-elf works until you're stuck doing their job (Go S.P.E.W!). So of course, there was much scrambling about this morning looking for misplaced books, last minute laundry, organizing bits and bobbles, and coaxing Winchester (my owl) and Rambo (sis's dog who has to be transfigured into a cat cause dogs aren't allowed) into their cages for the journey. Then we had to rush to meet the portkey (a monster  truck tire) to King's Cross Station, but we made it just in time. Whew, now I'm sitting aboard the Hogwarts Express as we make our way to school. Surprisingly the train now has WiFi access...something to do with keeping up with the times. If you're also on the train to Hogwarts stop by and see me...I'm in the compartment with the barking orange cat!

As for today's bloggy blog happenings, I will be posting my review of The Soulkeepers later this afternoon and I will also be announcing the winner of the Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes giveaway shortly. I will probably be sending out a newsletter email today, so if you signed up for my newsletters be on the lookout for that. And if you want to sign up for my newsletters you can easily do that...there's a sign up button in the right side sidebar over yonder ---->

Now, for your haiku pleasure I give you:
Please Don't Spill All Over My Lap
Little hard corn shell
Filled with your yummy goodness
Get in my belly

Today's haiku has been inspired by my love of and craving for tacos...seriously, I could so go for some tacos right now...who wants to go on a taco run? I'll buy if you fly :)
