Q: Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kickass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?
Most of my favorite books have strong, intelligent, capable, and relatable main characters, whether they be the heroine or hero. For me to truly love a book, its main character(s) must be captivating on their own. When it comes to heroines, my favorite books all feature heroines that don't necessarily need a love interest to make them interesting and whose strong, independent personalities don't disappear when a love interest is Hermione, Katniss, Annabeth (Percy Jackson series) or Katy from Obsidian. One of the most important characteristics that my favorite books share is simply spectacular storytelling. My favorite books all tell enthralling, engaging and entertaining stories.
