Top Ten Five Authors I'd Love To Have At My Thanksgiving Feast |
~J.K. Rowling~Who wouldn't want this brilliant lady at their Thanksgiving dinner?! I mean she created one of the most imaginative, spectacular, fantastical worlds ever! I want to just sit beside her and offer her a refreshing Butterbeer...with a bit of Veritaserum mixed in, so I can learn The Secrets. ALL THE SECRETS! Mwhahaha~Lauren Myracle~Eeep! I just lurve this funny chica. I wanna sit with her and gab and giggle and gossip. Basically, I want to be her bestie.~George R.R. Martin~I have So. Many. Questions for this man!Like- Y U keep killing off all your BEST characters?!And after I've served him some mashed taters and given him a stern talking to about his habit of offing characters, I would tell him, in great detail, just how A Song of Ice and Fire Series should play out and end. Cause I've got ideas people. IDEAS!~Stan and Jan Berenstain~These people wrote the books of my early childhood. The Berenstain Bears series. These were the books that I learned to read with. The first books that I read aloud to other people. The first books I obsessively collected. And I just want to tell Stan and Jan how thankful and grateful I am for them and their stories...although we may need a ouija board because sadly, Stan is no longer with us.~Lampito~You won't find this crazy awesome lady's stories on bookstore shelves, ALTHOUGH THEY SHOULD BE, and her work has not been published, ALTHOUGH IT SHOULD BE. Ya see, Lampito (whose real name is a mystery) is a fanfiction writer. She writes Supernatural (my obsession love) fanfic. And she writes some of the funniest, most fanfriggintabulous, best written short stories EVER. OF ALL TIME! I just want to meet this woman and talk for hours with her about everything. Then I want to lock her up in my basement and keep her as my own personal fanfic writer. That way, whenever something happens on Supernatural that I don't like, I can just say "Write monkey! Write!" and then she'll write it my way.What?! I'll keep her well fed in chocolate and always have a supply of carrots for her eebil plot bunnies ;)If you're ever looking for HIGH-larious and phenomenal Supernatural stories or just need a good laugh, then you MUST check out her work
That's it I'm afraid. Our Thanksgiving table's full and we couldn't possibly fit anyone else. So, umm yeah, five extra guests it is ;)
