Monsterland Renimated Awareness Tour (guest post & giveaway)

The Monsterland Reanimted Awareness Tour is stopping by today! This tour is hosted by The Children's Book Review and sponsored by Michael Okon...

Written by Michael Okon
After Monsterland has been destroyed, the entire world is thrown into chaos. Wyatt Baldwin and his friends must go beyond the boundaries of their small town to reestablish contact with the outside world. During their journey they discover a new threat released from the bowels of the defunct theme park. The danger of werewolves, vampires and zombies pale in comparison to an army of relentless mummies, Vincent Conrad’s reanimated monster and the menace of a life-sucking ooze they call The Glob.  Will Wyatt and his friends survive when they reenter the scariest place on earth?

Top 10 Scariest Places You've Been Or Want To Visit
by Michael Okon

I’ve been to the following locations (in my dreams), or actually places I’d REALLY like to go but can’t because I’m such a chicken:

  1. Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum – A hotbed of paranormal activity. Ghosts of Civil War soldiers and former patients are said to be walking through the two and half miles of hallway.
  2. Villisca Axe Murder House – I actually want to write a movie about this story, but I’d have to travel there and I’m just too terrified.
  3. Moon River Brewery – Who doesn’t love beer and ghosts?!
  4. Eastern State Penitentiary – the only source of light is a skylight. I’m there!
  5. Linda Vista Hospital – I’m in LA frequently and try to avoid this haunted hospital to the best of my abilities.
  6. St. Louis Cemetary – New Orleans is a town steeped in mythical traditions like vampires and witches (right up my alley). I would love to see all the above-ground tombs and crypts, snakey trails and decaying memorials. Many ghosts call this place their home.
  7. Winchester Mystery House – Mile-long hallways, staircases to nowhere, doors that open to walls. What’s not to love?
  8. Gettysburg Battlefield – one of the most haunted places in America. Over 50,000 were killed on this field and their ghosts are still seen and heard today by tourists. I plan on taking my wife and kids there this summer.
  9. The Stanley Hotel – two words: The Shining.
  10. The Bell Witch Cave – I’ve written about witches before and plan on incorporating The Bell Witch at some point. I will be visiting here eventually. Technology doesn’t work here so I won't be able to bring my cell phone.

Hey there cupcake! You look lovely today and I can tell you're thinking very smarticle thinky thoughts....so go ahead and post 'em!

After much thought and only recently being introduced to blog awards and blogger tagging, I'm going to have to declare this an award/tag free blog. I'm honored, humbled, and so very grateful for simply being considered for an award, but I simply do not have the time to return the favor. If I could, I'd award y'all with dozens of yummy cupcakes ;) Thanks for understanding.
