Cupcake Update (Blog News): Summer Sloooowdown

Hey, my loverly Cupcakes! You may have noticed that posts have been fewer and farther between lately here at Word Spelunking...well, that's because I'm taking a summer sloooodown. What does that mean exactly? Well, it just means I'll be blogging less this summer.

I'm not going on a blogging break or anything, I just won't be posting as often, and there may be weeks where I don't post at all. Real Life (work, my internships, my new little reading buddy niece) is keeping me busy, so blogging has to take a backseat to Real Life. 

I'll still be posting reviews of course, but I've promised myself that I'll do more "just for me" reading this summer and reading less review books. I have quite a few awesome blog tours, interviews, guest posts, and giveaways scheduled this summer, so keep an eye out for those.

Authors: I'm currently scheduling blog tours, interviews/guest posts/spotlights/giveaways through the month of August. So if you have a request check out my Policy Page, then shoot me an email.

HI, CUPCAKES!!!

Guess what! Apparently it's April...I know, when did THAT happen?! This year feels like it's just flying by....the March MG Madness ended yesterday and It. Was. Awesome! I had so much fun organizing and running this event. I'll be choosing winners for all those giveaways soon, so look out for those emails!

Well, it seems like I'm the LAST BLOGGER IN THE WORLD to jump on the Bloglovin bandwagon (I'm always late to the party...but I always show up looking Fab. U. Lous!). But, like most of y'all have discovered, Bloglovin is pretty cool and if you wanna follow Word Spelunking through it, you can via this shiny, loverly button (which will go in my sidebar as well)

As I get back to my regular bloggy schedule, you may notice that I won't be posting as much as I used to. The reason for this is simply my life is quite busy right now. I'm not stopping or going on another blog break or anything, I'm just cutting back a bit. I probably won't be posting everyday, but I'm going to try to post 2 reviews a week, participate in awesome blog tours, and continue to feature some great authors and books.

I'm also excited to start reviewing picture books! I love picture books and since I'm going to be an auntie very soon *squee*, these kinds of books are going to be a part of my life all the time, so I decided to start reviewing them. So, look out for those reviews to start this month and if you're an author pub who'd like me to review/feature a picture book just email me!

I think that's all the cupcakey news and goodness for now. I hope everyone had a great first day of April and wasn't the victim of any mean April Fool's jokes.

A FEW CUPCAKE UPDATES: GIVEAWAY, REVIEWS, BLOG TOURS

Hi Cupakes *waves enthusiastically*
I hope you are all well and in the company of some awesome people and/or fictional characters today.

I just wanted to let y'all know that I've had a bit of a slow week, or I suppose I've been a bit slow this week...but I do have several reviews that I'm working on and will be posting later this week. So keep an eye out for those. I am also excited to be participating in several upcoming blog tours! These should be really fun and awesome giveaways may be included in a few *wink wink*.

Also *jumps with excitement* I'm getting my prize packages ready for my Happy B-day To Me & My 100+ Followers Giveaway that I will be having in Oct.
