2nd Annual March MG Madness: event info and author sign ups

That's right, Cupcakes, I'm dedicating March of 2013 once again to
middle-grade fiction!
Last year's March MG Madness was an awesome month filled with all things middle-grade: reviews, author interviews and guest posts, and giveaways. And I want to do it again! You can check out this post to see last year's event.

But, in order to create another fantastic month of MG fiction I need some fantabulous authors and books to showcase, promote, and share. Last year's author participants included wonderful authors like Dan Gutman, Marissa Burt, Stephanie Burgis, Joanne Levy, Sarvenaz Tash, and so many more! So, MG authors, this post is for you...

AUTHORS/PUBS: if you're an author of a middle-grade book(s) or a publisher of middle-grade fiction then I'd love to have you participate! All and any MG authors/books are welcome, whether you're a traditionally published author or an indie author, this event is for you all. If you have a middle-grade book(s) that has been released in the last year or will be released in the next year, then you can participate in the following ways:
  • Reviews (I'll review your book)
  • Author Interviews
  • Character Interviews
  • Guest Posts
  • Book Spotlights
  • Giveaways

(more info about each can be found on the sign up form below)

Sign-ups will be open until 1/31/13 and I'll email anyone who signs up by 1/31/13 (I won't be emailing until later in January, so if you sign up and don't hear from me until then, don't worry I got your info!).

To sign up, simply fill out
****THIS FORM****

I can't wait for all the MG fun and I want to thank you in advance for signing up!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at wordspelunker@gmail.com and put "March MG Madness" as the subject line :)

Untimed (YA time travel adventure) by Andy Gavin is Available Now!

Get ready for a YA time travel adventure that will have the hours flying by!

Untimed, author Andy Gavin’s latest release, is finally out!

No one remembers Charlie’s name. He falls through holes in time. And a clockwork man is trying to kill him. But there’s an eighteenth century Scottish girl who can bring him back home – assuming they don’t destroy history by accidentally letting Ben Franklin get killed.
Andy’s previous novel, dark fantasy The Darkening Dream, has been well-received by fans and critics alike. Publisher’s Weekly called it “gorgeously creepy, strangely humorous, and sincerely terrifying.” Untimed is an even more ambitious follow-up. It is a lavish production with a cover by acclaimed fantasy artist Cliff Nielsen and twenty-one full page interior illustrations by Dave Phillips.
About Untimed
Charlie’s the kind of boy that no one notices. Hell, even his own mother can’t remember his name. And girls? The invisible man gets more dates.
As if that weren’t enough, when a mysterious clockwork man tries to kill him in modern day Philadelphia, and they tumble through a hole into 1725 London, Charlie realizes even the laws of time don’t take him seriously.
Still, this isn’t all bad. In fact, there’s this girl, another time traveler, who not only remembers his name, but might even like him! Unfortunately, Yvaine carries more than her share of baggage: like a baby boy and at least two ex-boyfriends! One’s famous, the other’s murderous, and Charlie doesn’t know who is the bigger problem.
When one kills the other — and the other is nineteen year-old Ben Franklin — things get really crazy. Can their relationship survive? Can the future? Charlie and Yvaine are time travelers, they can fix this — theoretically — but the rules are complicated and the stakes are history as we know it.
And there's one more wrinkle: he can only travel into the past, and she can only travel into the future!
