I don't normally read this genre, but Josin did a great job with constructing the tension-filled and irresistible query letter that ended up being used as the blurb. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13446537-premeditated

  59. My new year's resolution is actually to be kinder this year, potentially doing one kind thing every day. I decided on this resolution as we were rescuing a dog off the highway. This dog was so fast my husband could barely keep up with it in his truck, but we finally managed to catch him and return him to his hysterical owner (he had been missing for a week). I couldn't believe that no one else had stopped to help, and we chased this dog for almost an hour. So it made me want to do more kind things, whether it be giving a compliment, paying someone's toll, leaving a generous tip, anything to make someone's day a little brighter.

  60. I already do the acts of Kindness all the time (part of my lifestyle). Everything from helping (older) people in stores to buying dinner when out with friends who are having a hard time money-wise (many have kids and we don't, so its one way we can help without hurting anyone's pride). Ever knotice how surprised people are when you smile and offer honest hellos to strangers now-a-days? That is what modern life has come to. Makes me sad...but I still smile and offer help as much as I can!

  61. I'm looking forward to The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen.

  65. Thank you for your generous participation in this fun hop. I am really looking forward to the new installment in the Rachel Morgan series, Ever After by Kim Harrison, scheduled to be released the end of January. I have decided to make a regular habit this year to laugh, read lots of good books, and then laugh some more. I have determined that no matter what a smile will make a gloomy day breakthrough with at least a little sunshine :)

Hey there cupcake! You look lovely today and I can tell you're thinking very smarticle thinky thoughts....so go ahead and post 'em!

After much thought and only recently being introduced to blog awards and blogger tagging, I'm going to have to declare this an award/tag free blog. I'm honored, humbled, and so very grateful for simply being considered for an award, but I simply do not have the time to return the favor. If I could, I'd award y'all with dozens of yummy cupcakes ;) Thanks for understanding.
