Goodie Basket (31): Book Haul & Blog Recap

Goodie Basket...is a weekly feature hosted here at Word Spelunking that showcases all the goodies (books, bookish things, reviews, interviews/giveaways/guest posts, blog tours, etc) that popped up in the Goodie Basket that is Word Spelunking each week.

(This meme is inspired by other book haul memes such as Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea and Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer )

Weekly Blog Recap

This was a busy week on the blog with several blog tours, blitzes, cover reveals, and events! No reviews this week, but plenty to come.

This week Platte Clark, the very funny author of the MG book Bad Unicorn stopped by for an interview. Robert Gray, author of the awesome Eve Hallows books, also stopped by during the Eve Hallows Blog Tour for a guest post where he talks about his top ten favorite monsters. There's a giveaway up at that post, as well as the Eve Hallows Book Blast post.

Wednesday was day one of the 6 Days of Ondine Quartet and Word Spelunking was the first stop! Be sure to check out that post to win a prize pack that includes 4 ebooks, signed posters, and signed bookmarks. I participated in two book blitzes this week: 12 Days of Magic and Fang Girl.

I also helped reveal the covers of Free Souls by Susan Kaye Quinn and Timespell by Diana Paz. On Tuesday I teased The Lives We Lost and Wednesday I waited on Better Nate Than Ever.

There's some great things coming up next week on the blog, including the Falling From Eternity Blog Tour and several awesome authors will be stopping by for interviews, guest posts, and giveaways.

What did you get this week?!

Hey there cupcake! You look lovely today and I can tell you're thinking very smarticle thinky thoughts....so go ahead and post 'em!

After much thought and only recently being introduced to blog awards and blogger tagging, I'm going to have to declare this an award/tag free blog. I'm honored, humbled, and so very grateful for simply being considered for an award, but I simply do not have the time to return the favor. If I could, I'd award y'all with dozens of yummy cupcakes ;) Thanks for understanding.
