Sirenz: The Two Worlds Blog Tour-- Guest Post & Giveaway

The Sirenz: The Two Worlds Tour is stopping here today with a fab guest post and giveaway!
We’ll Always Love You, Hades

We’ve been together for a few years now. Has the romance gone? Have your feelings about me changed? Do you, author, still love me, your character?

Sirenz, Sirenz Back In Fashion, and next year, Sirenz Myth Appropriated… three books with the same people. Different places, situations, emotions and other characters, sure—but do we still love our characters?

It’d be hard for us to ditch Shar and Meg. We baked a bit of ourselves into them both, and it’s interesting to see how they react in different situations, how they’ve developed (our babies are all grown up!). But what about Hades, the bad boy, the villain, the devious dark god?

Hades continues to surprise us with his dynamism—and his depth. He started out as merely the catalyst for the first book, but he revealed that he’s more than just a pretty face with a taste for the expensive… and forbidden.

Hades shows his vulnerability in Sirenz Back In Fashion (you’ll love him even more, we promise!). He’s not a shallow, love-a-mortal-then-dump-them guy. Would you believe Hades has the soul of an artist? That he adores beauty in many forms? He can do a good deed without compensation?

That’s not to say Hades is going to live an ascetic or monk-like existence; he’s still, like most of his other divine counterparts, a hedonistic, plotting, manipulative, arrogant god. That’s what makes him fun. Maybe his long time spent in the Underworld, sometimes alone, gives him pause (Paws? Channeling Cerberus!) to reflect.

Whatever the reason, yes, Hades, we love you more than ever. But it’s still Meg’s and Shar’s story…

In Sirenz, boarding school roomies Meg and Shar learned the hazards of making a deal with Hades, Lord of the Underworld. The wearing of a Tiffany's diamond ring in Sirenz Back In Fashion reactivates their contract, they find themselves back in his employ as sirens. And things are a little different this time; Shar is whisked off to the Underworld to play hostess as the dark god attempts to win her affections, while Meg is stuck topside, obligated to send spoiled rich girl Paulina Swanson to the Underworld. Hot gods, mere mortals and the Underworld have their secrets. Will Meg and Shar ever ditch Hades, and keep their wardrobes and souls intact?
Meet the authors

Nat: When not playing with pointed objects, Natalie Zaman is usually writing. She lives in central New Jersey with her family and several fine looking chickens.
Char: Lover of sparkly things, Char doesn't have as many shoes as she'd like, but wouldn't have time to wear them anyway with her three boys, husband, cat with issues, demented squirrels and insistent characters all demanding her time. She is represented by Natalie Lakosil of the Bradford Literary Agency and is hoping to get all her characters into print just so they'll be quiet.

After much thought and only recently being introduced to blog awards and blogger tagging, I'm going to have to declare this an award/tag free blog. I'm honored, humbled, and so very grateful for simply being considered for an award, but I simply do not have the time to return the favor. If I could, I'd award y'all with dozens of yummy cupcakes ;) Thanks for understanding.
