Goodie Basket (22): Book Haul & Blog Recap

Goodie Basket...is a weekly feature hosted here at Word Spelunking that showcases all the goodies (books, bookish things, reviews, interviews/giveaways/guest posts, blog tours, etc) that popped up in the Goodie Basket that is Word Spelunking each week.

(This meme is inspired by other book haul memes such as Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea and Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer )

In my Goodie Basket this week...

Just like their Halloween Promo books, Harper Collins has started their Holiday Books Promo by sending out YA/MG/Childrens books to bloggers that make great holiday gifts. This week I received their box of middle-grade books, which included...

Charlotte's Web (60th Anniversary edition) E.B. White
This was one my favorite books as a child and the hardcover anniversary edition is so gorgeous!

The Harper Collins MG box also included:

My 16 year old sister claimed the One Direction book as soon as I opened the box and proceeded to read and fangirl over it! Now I just need to find someone with Bieber Fever who I can gift the other book to ;)

From Simon & Schuster:

I had never heard of this series before but I'm excited to start reading the spooktacular books!

Hey there cupcake! You look lovely today and I can tell you're thinking very smarticle thinky thoughts....so go ahead and post 'em!

After much thought and only recently being introduced to blog awards and blogger tagging, I'm going to have to declare this an award/tag free blog. I'm honored, humbled, and so very grateful for simply being considered for an award, but I simply do not have the time to return the favor. If I could, I'd award y'all with dozens of yummy cupcakes ;) Thanks for understanding.
