I had originally set out to come up with a list of my top ten MG books of all time, but realized that all my faves are actually a part of series, thus that list turned into this list. So, here are my Top Ten Favorite MG Series in no particular order...
Harry Potter series by J.K. RowlingThis magical series changed the way I (and the rest of the world) viewed MG fiction and the power of MG books.
Fablehaven series by Brandon MullThis series is absolutely enchanting, super fun and addicting!
Anne of Green Gables series by L.M Montgomery
Anne Shirley was my first bosom friend and a true kindred spirit.
The Baby-Sitters Club series by Ann M. MartinI devoured these books as a child and wanted so badly to be in the Baby-sitters Club!
Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. LewisThis series introduced me to the concept of fantasy fiction and thank Aslan for that!
A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket
LOVE the dark, witty humor in this series!
Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke
This series is based on such a wondrous concept!
His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman
I'm deeply impressed by the thought-provoking nature of this series.
Anything and Everything by Judy Blume
The Fudge series got me through elementary school!
Percy Jackson and the Olympians series & The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan...yes, I cheated and counted both series as one.Riordan is a true master of MG fiction!

Wow I remember reading The Babysitter's Club back then. That's too funny lol. Also back then I read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I have the complete series of Narnia and one day plan to read all of them. Harry Potter will always be my favorite. I just love that world so much.
