Ahhh, I can't believe I've been blogging at Word Spelunking for five years! It's been an amazing five years, filled with great books, wonderful authors, and the most awesome blog readers and followers in the world...seriously, y'all rock my socks and bake my cupcakes! I still can't believe that people actually take the time to visit my blog, leave lovely comments, and engage in thoughtful discussion.

I've experienced many fantastic things because of my blog, including my career, and I can't wait to see what the next five years will bring!

My favorite book so far for 2016 was The Choices We Make by Karma Brown. It was a very emotional read.

I think I'd have to go with the newly released Harry Potter play - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was a great read!

One of my favorites so far this year is The Art of Flight by Sergio Pitol (George Henson, translator).

I've been into paranormal books this year. I can't really say which one was my favorite. I really liked Trials of Apollo too!

My favorite middle grade is Echo. Favorite adult is hard, since I've read so many! Marked in Flesh, Anne Bishop or The Unyiellding by Shelly Laurenston.
