When Mallory’s boyfriend, Jeremy, cheats on her with an online girlfriend, Mallory decides the best way to de-Jeremy her life is to de-modernize things too. Inspired by a list of goals her grandmother made in1962, Mallory swears off technology and returns to a simpler time (when boyfriends couldn’t cheat with computer avatars). The List:
1. Run for pep club secretary
2. Host a fancy dinner party/soiree
3. Sew a dress for Homecoming
4. Find a steady
5. Do something dangerous
But simple proves to be crazy-complicated, and the details of the past begin to change Mallory’s present. Add in a too-busy grandmother, a sassy sister, and the cute pep-club president–who just happens to be her ex’s cousin–and soon Mallory begins to wonder if going vintage is going too far.

What
three words best describe GOING VINTAGE?
Fun, fancy, free
Can
you give us your best one sentence pitch to convince readers why they
should give GOING VINTAGE a try (c'mon, really sell it!)?
Inside these pages, you will find the secret of life, the fountain of youth, the recipe for love, and the… the… other cool stuff.
Grab
a copy of GOING VINTAGE and answer the following?
Favorite
chapter?
Chapter 17, but only because that is my favorite number
Favorite
page?
The last one. It took me awhile to get there.
Favorite
character?
You are making me choose between my children. Fine. Ginnie.
Flip
to a random page and give us a 1 sentence teaser:
“I like to lie sometimes. You should know that about me.”
Your
character Mallory sets out to achieve a list of goals made by her
grandmother...if you could send teenage Lindsey a list of three
goals/bucket list items to complete before leaving high school
(things you didn't get to do as a teen, but wanted to), what would
the list consist of?
1. Ask a boy out. 2. Stop tying a sweatshirt around your waist. Your butt isn’t big, it’s fabulous. 2 ½ Do all that honor society and student council stuff because it helps others, not for your college resume. 3. Grow out your bangs.
If
your character Mallory had her own custom made signature nail polish
color, what would it look like and what would it be called? What
would the Lindsey Leavitt inspired nail polish look like?
Mallory: Ravishing Red, or some such color that would have been popular in the sixties. Me: Golden Nugget. I love gold glitter gel nails. They are my signature (or I just made them such)
Fill
in the blanks:
I'm
really awesome at
BLOG INTERVIEWS
I'm
really embarrassed to admit that
I STILL HAVEN’T READ THE BOOK THEIF
My
first literary crush (author or character) was
ALMANZO WILDER. Farm boys are hot
If
you were to create and bake a cupcake inspired by GOING VINTAGE, what
would it look and taste like, and what would you call it?
Maraschino cherry with cool whip. Because nothing says early sixties like maraschino cherries.Lindsey Leavitt

Mmm It would probably be the advice of don't marry the first guy that asks you but then that's not a goal is it.
I would tell my teen self to get as many work skills/qualifications in my chosen trade (hair & beauty) whilst still at college as you never get around to going back.
Also enjoy yourself, its the most carefree you'll probably ever be!

I just got done with my teenage years last year. So I'm still figuring stuff out about what I missed out and what could have been... I dunno how exactly to answer the question. I love what Lindsey has said. I will, however, try my best to make one and the list would include-
1) Play a sport. Ot really helps. It makes you strong.
And 2) Don't take exams TOO seriously. Study hard but don't worry much about it.
Jeesh, I hope that made sense.
Thank you for the giveaway! It's always cool to have bookmarks.

Thank you for the perfect giveaway. <3 Would love to win a signed bookmark :D
Heh. My answer is a bit silly.. but, well, I would tell my teen self to not be so afraid, and just go kiss a boy. :)
I've heard a lot of great things about this book! I'm hoping to be able to check it out soon! I hope you enjoy everything!

I'm still stuck in my teenage years! But I would tell my tween self to keep a journal! I went of so many crazy adventures and I have no records and only faint memories.
@DebzBookshelf
I would tell myself that High School isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things so don't be so scared and self-conscious (easier said than done.:)

Just hold out for true love, Holly. You'll have your heart broken by several jerks that promise you forever. As distraught as that makes you, hold out. You will find true love.
Also, believe in miracles. Always be there for your friends. They will always be there for you.
(That's just advice, not goals, eh?)
Also, not my teen self, but my 22-year-old self, go to Spokane to visit Tony the first time he asks. Don't argue. Don't carry on about traveling by yourself being scary. Just get on the Greyhound, and go. You'll love it. Settle down by 25. Have children by 30, or you never will.
